Digital Training

Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership

Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) had recently onboarded new employees; from digital managers to C-Suite and policymakers, who would have benefited from upskilling in digital communications, to best communicate their mission, message and call to actions.

Brief: Provide training to all areas of the business, outside of the marketing and communications team. To ensure that the training was impactful, it was important for us to not only present best practice and trends, but we also tailored each session to provide the business case for social media, and how strategic use can contribute to meeting organisational objectives.

OUTCOMES

6 hours of training delivered to over 60 participants across all CISL departments

THE APPROCH

The training was to be delivered to over 60 employees, across CISL, CLG UK and CLG EU, in a structured 3-part series focussed on; Social Media 1:1, Social Media Delivery and Best Practice: Engaging with Partner Networks. To create a bespoke series, we blended the most recent trends and best practice, with real-life examples from within the CISL organisation, followed by interactive tasks and discussion after each module so that the audience can apply theory to practice.Following each session, the recording and presented slides were shared, and the audience given a period to collate and share questions so that Empower can provide further clarity and bespoke answers.
